Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bilingual and bicultural. She has worked in a number of different settings, such as working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems and survivors of sexual assault, and with partners who have been sexually assaulted. She has been working with. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since 2019. The services of Telehealth are available for patients in the Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal team for Behavioral Health who work with pregnant as well as postpartum women. She has been trained in adult EMDR and trauma-informed. She can provide individual or group therapy and an assisted medication treatment program. Special care referrals are also provided. Amanda is also a member of the Best Friends Animal Society.
