Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is a model and actress best known for appearing in TV and in films. After beginning her acting career with the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her first role as Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in a number of shows over the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt plays Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised within Cape Town South Africa. In her later teens, she moved together with family members in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's profession began as a model when she appeared in television commercials and magazine ads. In the years before she had a career as a model she worked as a salesperson in retail as well as an IT recruitment consultant. She was Leilani, a New Zealander in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. in 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave girl in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena in the year 2021, she played the character Naevia. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her started playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. This happens to be her largest role to date. The show co-stars her alongside Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
